Simulation Models and Model Parameters

This site provides comprehensive documentation for CTAO simulation models and model parameters. Some reports list model parameters used in a production. Others compare a parameter’s value across different model versions.

The following table describes the various production model versions.

Production Model Version	Short Description
5.0.0	Equivalent to Prod5 with dark conditions.
6.0.0	Equivalent to Prod6 with dark conditions.
6.1.0	Equivalent to Prod6 with half-moon conditions.
6.2.0	Equivalent to Prod6 but with extra-safe thresholds for MSTs and SST.
